messaggio studios launch PSA for the Basel Convention
messaggio studios are pleased to launch an e-waste Public Service Announcement, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Basel Convention on the transboundary movement of hazardous wastes and their disposal.
Since 2001, messaggio studios have been producing PSAs on behalf of those causing change. These 30- or 60-second TV spots aim to raise awareness and incite action. All three main mondofragilis group companies were involved with the Secretariat of the Basel Convention for their 20th anniversary celebrations. messaggio studios staff always relish the chance to produce effective and memorable PSAs. The team particularly enjoyed the opportunity to conceive and produce this PSA to highlight the issue of electronic waste, drawing on extensive creative and 3D talents.
The Basel Convention aims to raise awareness of waste management issues. In particular, in commissioning this PSA, the convention has chosen to highlight the recent issue of electronic waste. As technology advances at a rapid rate questions need to be asked about what happens to all our old electronic goods.
Like many messaggio studios PSAs before it, this highly visual PSA will be easy to translate, making it available, almost immediately, to globally raise awareness of waste management issues.
