The group will be slowing down for the 2008-2009 holiday season from 20 December '08 to 4 January '09. All operations will be up and running but with reduced staff. All year end delivery schedules are currently on schedule and we foresee no delays. Note that switchboards at group headquarters, the studio and the print facility will be open throughout the holidays. Check the contact section for details.
Giray will be travelling throughout the fall. Wednesday 15 October in Milano for the EuropaDonna news conference. Friday the 17th in Paris for a visa for China and internal meetings. First week of November China for the World Urban Forum in Nanjing. Then, 10 November in Houston to tape former President George H. W. Bush for our film Cancer is... The second week of December, travel to New York for the launch of Cancer is...
Giray and Caroline Maire will be in Nairobi 6 to 9 October 2008 for a UN-Habitat meeting.
Our offices are closed for May Day - 1 May. Some staff are operational, but the facilities are closed.
Please check our operational calendar for details but at this point, most of March and April will be reserved for Cancer is... filming. The crew will leave Geneva in early March and return in late April.
Our apologies for printing delays today. Our platemaker had a problem which was finally fixed in mid afternoon. We'll be working hard overnight and tomorrow to catch up.
We have successfully carried out alpha testing on mondoexperts. There are still a couple of unresolved issues, but we are confident that we can get a beta version online by 15 December. The first to register will be our mondolibrary photographers. We will then start promoting mondoexperts aggressively to experts throughout the holiday period and January 2008.
mondoexperts, still in Alpha, has been upgraded to 3.1.4. RC1 is scheduled for 15 December and go live is now fixed at 2008 Week 1.
