Europa Donna on CNN, Euronews and more...
Accessing accurate and up to date information is key in the fight against breast cancer.
To stop breast cancer, women need to know how. mondofragilis network is pleased to help convey the message. The 30-second PSA, produced for Europa Donna, points women in the right direction for advice about prevention and cure. The PSA is already being aired on CNN Europe, Euronews, TF1, RTL 2, TV5 Monde, France 24, and many other European channels.
In Europe, breast cancer affects one in ten women. Scientific advances are reducing the number of lives breast cancer claims, but information that can engender a better understanding of how to avoid breast cancer, along with improved access to state of the art healthcare, are of the utmost importance. October is the month dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness, and so Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition, commissioned mondofragilis network to produce a 30 second public service announcement.
Producing a public service announcement is not an easy task. With only 30 seconds to convey an effective message, it is necessary to be clear, concise and eye-catching. Additionally, great efforts have to be made to ensure the announcement is aired free of charge, resulting in forgone lucrative advertising time for broadcasters. The fact that this campaign has been so well received by big European channels gives a great sense of achievement and pride to all involved in its production and realisation.
The public service announcement is being shown on the following channels:
- CNN
- Euronews
- TV5 Monde
- France 24
- TF1
- RTL 2
- Channel 5
- uktv
- Vitaya
- RTL-TVI
- LTV
- Canal+
- Comédie
- Planète
- Jimmy
- NT1
- BFM TV
- iTélé
and public broadcasting services in Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Romania and more...
On behalf of Europa Donna, mondofragilis network would like to thank all of these channels for their collaboration and support of the campaign – to increase availability of information, access to screening and better treatment, and funding for research into the causes of and cures for breast cancer.
CNN, Euronews, TV5 Monde, TF1 and around twenty other European channels support Europa Donna's campaign and Breast Health Day
