I am writing to thank you and your colleagues for a job well done! World Health Day 2007 was a resounding success. Your creativity, dedication and follow-through during months of preparation were essential to develop and implement this year's worldwide campaign to "Invest in health, build a safer future."

Organizing a global event on the scale of World Health Day, with limited resources and time, is a feat. On behalf of the World Health Day core group, I really appreciate your professionalism throughout the process. The resulting campaign materials are high quality communications products. I wish to note, in particular, the tireless efforts and flexibility of Franck Vasserot to carry through the many challenges and demands of the graphics design work.

Your contributions helped to launch a highly visible global event in Singapore and support organizers of activities around the world to stimulate action on international health security and ensure a safer world.

We owe you a big THANK YOU.

The WAC site has never looked so good. It is something we all take real pride in, and everyone we now talk to says its improved immeasurably. Its amazing how this new site has made our whole team feel, and everyone we work with (and we work with lots of people) are now even more keen for us to promote and support their campaigning efforts in fighting AIDS.

And the posters, cdroms, brochures…. You turned these around at breakneck speed. And in serious quantities. And they all look fabulous – once again a real source of pride for the whole team. And we continue to throw things at you and you continue to deliver… A poster in 3 days flat for a conference in Vienna. Logistically that is amazing. Politically it is awesome. For example that particular poster is going to the Global Unions at their biggest meeting. There are 150 million people part of the Global Unions around the world. They are a force for change second to none. And together we have provided something that, in some small way at least, will help inspire and unite their efforts.

So once again, thank you. We need to wrap stuff up on the site, and we will work out with you how to finish the current redevelopment, and a date for that – but this note is just to let you know how much we appreciate your work and to let you know how important your work is being in this year's campaigning response to AIDS.
