Open despite violence
Our initial plans were to announce and launch mondofragilis africa in January. Unfortunately, Kenya is currently suffering a violent period following the contested presidential election results.
Our newly opened Nairobi-based mondofragilis africa is opening as planned and will commence operations next week but, for obvious reasons, the company will be holding back its launch efforts. In coming days and weeks, we will be reevaluating the situation.
mondofragilis is, of course, sorry to see this turmoil and the loss of life. It is impossible for us to take a position which favours one result or another. We simply hope that the situation will quickly calm down so that we, and other organisations, can get back to work for the citizens of Kenya and Africa.
