Patient Safety one year anniversary
Mondofragilis network is proud to have been a part of the Global Patient Safety Challenge since its inception in 2005. At no time have we been happier about this relationship than yesterday at the one-year anniversary held in Geneva during which many mondofragilis network concepts and productions were present.
In October 2004, WHO launched the World Alliance for Patient Safety in response to a World Health Assembly Resolution (2002) urging WHO and Member States to pay the closest possible attention to the problem of patient safety. The Alliance raises awareness and political commitment to improve the safety of care and facilitates the development of patient safety policy and practice in all WHO Member States. Each year, the Alliance delivers a number of programmes covering systemic and technical aspects to improve patient safety around the world.
Mondofragilis network plays an important role in this effort. Many of the brochures, posters and exhibit tools were conceived and produced by the team including designers from our messaggio studios facility.
Most notably, mondofragilis network conceived and produced the original screensaver that was launched at the event. This screensaver (available on the WHO Patient Safety website - click here to download directly) will be on medical screens around the world inciting medical professionals to follow the simple rules needed to reduce the risk of treatment related infections.
Mondofragilis network has also produced two short films for the Global Patient Safety Challenge.
