Mondofragilis.net V2.1 has arrived
We promote change. Our slogan is 'messages must cause change'. We keep changing our equipment; getting the best and the latest. We change our philosophy and offer to meet the needs of our civil society and UN partners. It would therefore make sense, that we keep our own style up to date. And so, once again, we've changed.
Our last style change happened in 2005. Since then, the seed and sprout have served us well. But we felt it was time to change the message slightly. We, admittedly, have entered a period where most of the staff in our companies feel that we need to be more aggressive. We fell our clients do too. We feel that there are too many pressing issues to be cute. We need to be loud. We need to show all our stakeholders that change is being demanded.
The yellow ribbon — the one seen in most crime scenes — felt like the right symbol. It shows that behind the ribbon, there is change going on. People behind its limits are 'causing change.' Civil society workers in the field, UN staffers in HQ or doctors in their research labs. All want life to improve. All want our planet to get well.
In addition to the yellow ribbon, we've opted for different imagery. Rather than the metaphoric seed and sprout, we opted for something current, something real. The iceberg has, indeed, become the symbol of global warming and so we decided to do the obvious and use it. Granted, we chose different symbols for our various companies including the leaf for naturaprint and the lighthouse for messaggio studios, but the main mondofragilis network image for the next year will be the iceberg.
A special thank you to Fabrice, Florence and Franck who together have made our migration to the new design possible. Also, a big thank you to our naturaprint and messaggio studios teams for conceiving and printing all the new materials. We look forward to giving them out.
